BEYOND THE BEAT – LEARN TO PLAY LIKE YOUR IDOLS

When I was twelve, like most Jewish boys my age, I used to rock out in my bedroom to Guns & Roses.  I would air guitar myself into a frenzy and vow that tomorrow, YES TOMORROW, I would start taking guitar lessons and I wouldn’t stop until I could play like Slash – the greatest Jewish guitarist who ever lived!  Sadly tomorrow never came and my air guitar turned into a camera.  But lucky for me, I met Jenny Luong – art director supreme over at the mighty Zulu Alpha Kilo.  We had worked together on two other projects before this so when she called I knew I was in for a treat.  Here’s a clever little campaign we did together for Beyond the Beat – a music school that could have been quite helpful to twelve year old Daniel.  Enjoy!
